AJAX is what people are calling a method of making a remote request using XMLHTTPRequest. I ran across a library called sajax this makes it easy to create ajax enabled php application.

Ran across this the other day. PHP and javascript are a killer combo.
Anyway, somebody on the cq-contest topband list wanted to develop an application that would be used to input and display reception reports while they were on their dx-pedition to Peter I island. They wanted to automate another package that was Windows based. I, of course, asked why they wanted to develop under Microsoft especially given that they really only have two weeks before they leave. The person didn't really have an answer other than that is all he knows.
